Internet based firm that presents detailed information on competing products and their suppliers on its website to enable its visitors (potential buyers) to make informed and independent decisions about a purchase.
Also called market killers, such firms diminish the advantage of intermediaries and producers who compete on the basis of privileged information, brand identification, or reputation.
