Definition Of Machine Code:

Programming code written in a machine language that can be executed directly by a machine (computer) without any conversion or translation.
Almost all commercial (shrinkwrapped) software is sold in machine code. If any defect (bug) is discovered by a user, he or she cannot make any corrections because that would necessitate the software to software to be in the human-readable programming language code (source code).
