Definition Of Dumb Terminal:

Device which consists of a keyboard and a monitor, and a connection to a full-fledged (intelligent) computer usually a server PC, minicomputer, or a mainframe computer.
Dumb terminals have no 'intelligence' (data processing or number crunching power) and depend entirely on the computer (to which they are connected) for computations, data storage, and retrieval. Dumb terminals are used by airlines, banks, and other such firms for inputting data to, and recalling it from, the connected computer.
